About The Role
Role Purpose

The Production Manager is responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of creative services across all in-house creative studios (Gibraltar, Tel Aviv, London, Manila) and outsourced third parties in line with business expectations.

Reporting to the Director of Creative, the Production Manager will manage an effective team of production resources to plan, schedule and control the workflow process from client / stakeholder requirement through ideation, completion, sign off and delivery to expectation (Brand guidelines, agreed SLAs, cost, technical quality) for all Ladbrokes Coral brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the effective planning and delivery of all creative/content activity on all channels for all brands
  • Working with Brand and Marketing teams to triage all creative requests and prioritise/plan all creative/content activity for the business
  • Responsible for all assets complying with Brand guidelines and regulatory frameworks including CAP
  • Ensure all stakeholders are communicated with effectively, SLA’s are met and trade-offs are understood
  • Track all creative costs (tools, services, agency support and internal resources) and update the business regularly through the Budget/Forecast process – demonstrating clear understanding of target and cost budget setting, quality and productivity KPIs, test cycles, technology improvements and other opportunities
  • Manage all creative agency, contractor and 3rd party resources effectively including selection, negotiation of costs/services, performance management, contracts, invoicing and regular account review(s)
  • Responsible for internal and external capitalisation of key project resources and updating project managers, Finance and PMO on CAPEX control matters
  • Accurately record all purchase orders/bookings, production costs and other expenditure and report on a weekly and periodic basis
  • Work with Brand team to create and regularly update Brand Guidelines; ensure that all activity delivered is consistent with the Brand guidelines
  • Maintain full awareness and understanding of appropriate legislation for relevant channels and ensure all activity is approved by Compliance and Legal team(s); ensure that all materials are consistent with Licence conditions and code(s) of practice; ensure all staff are trained and familiar with Responsible Gambling requirements and knowledge is consistently and effectively updated
  • Responsible for the production of internal and external reports and communications to contribute to the prioritization and resourcing decisions made by senior management.
  •  Own and continually optimize the creative team workflow processes in their respective tools or platforms including stakeholder “buy-in”, training, improvements, tool evaluation and recommendations. (Dashboards, forms, logins, etc)  
  • A strategic and inspiring leader that provides leadership and direction to the team creating and embedding a culture where continuous improvement is embraced
  • Encourages communication and collaboration across the business, team and stakeholders in order to build strong relationships and develop cross functional working
  •  A leader that mentors and develops the team by; providing development, coaching, objectives and goal setting, performance management and other people policies as required ensuring the team is motivated, productive and fully compliant with all regulations and legislation
Specialist Skills and Experience Required
  • Strong experience working in a sports, gaming or news related copywriting or content role at senior level.
  • University-level education in Marketing, English or equivalent industry recognized certificates preferable.
  • Strong knowledge of all Microsoft products such as Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong knowledge of Communication/marketing/SEO trends currently used in online CRM
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, with the ability to switch from one to the other seamlessly.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of mobile and tablet gaming
  • Proven personal communication skills (written, verbal and presentational)
  • Keen interest in writing, popular culture, and new advertising trends and techniques
  • Ability to create simple, effective, engaging promotional messaging.
  • Good stakeholder management experience
  • Strong understanding of Brand guidelines & tone of voice principles for offline and online media
  • Strong communications skills (written, verbal and presentational)
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and third party service providers
