About The Role

Role Purpose    


The Cross Brand Promotions Executive’s responsibilities include the creation, implementation, optimsation and analysis of marketing campaigns and marketing activity for the Cross Brand Department. The Promotions Executive will ensure that all marketing campaigns are successful by increasing the number of first time deposits and increasing the number of multibrand players across all brands. They will also be in-charge of making sure that all marketing campaigns are in-line with brand strategy and guidelines. 


The Promotions Executive is in the Cross Brand team and reports to the Cross Brand Marketing Manager.


Key Responsibilities

  •  Develop business by increasing the number of players who hold multiple accounts within the GVC group by utilising cross sell promotions and incentives – increasing player volume, first time deposits, share of wallet.
  • Award bonuses, setup automated offers and manual bonusing, to players that have been highlighted via campaigns
  • Manage landing pages and promo pages to ensure promotions and offers are displaying on site, both desktop and mobile, correctly to ensure the content is correct before promotions go live
  • Use of JIRA to create/amend campaigns, request analysis and tracking
  • Develop business through the identification of opportunities and introduction of offers, promotions, communications and support to the business, direct affiliates and commercial partners where appropriate
  • Monitor activity and produce weekly/monthly reports and presentations to various teams to ensure we maintain First Time Deposit targets and grow incremental revenue
  • Assist the Cross Brand Marketing Manager in the day to day organisation and administration of the marketing calendar to achieve planning/scheduling targets for marking campaigns and ensure promotional calendar kept up to date
  • Work with relevant teams across the business, such as Customer Service, CRM, VIP, Creative, Acquisition, Operations etc. to ensure the effective delivery, sign off, optimistaion and implementation of campaign creative briefs  to produce solid campaigns that can be released to customers
  • Ensure that all activity delivered is consistent and follows the Brand and Best Practice guidelines set out by each Brand team and ensure that all materials are fully compliant with all relevant legislation
  • Analyse and review the impact of marketing campaigns towards achieving KPI targets such as increase first, second and third time deposits
  • Work with the Playtech/IMS/OpenBet/Back Office tools to create bonus templates and campaigns to be able to trigger bonuses when players respond to campaigns  


Qualifications and Educational Requirements

  • Educated to a degree level in marketing or a related discipline beneficial but not essential


Specialist Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous experience in working with promotions and bonuses
  • A keen interest in and knowledge of online gaming products and sports
  • Strong communication skills essential (verbal, written and presentational); highly numerate
  • Good organisation skills
  • Good IT skills including strong experience of MS Excel, Word and Outlook etc. and database packages
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and 3rd party service providers
  • Experience in working with the Playtech/IMS/JIRA/Open Bet system an advantage
