About The Role
Role Purpose
 
This role is responsible for directly managing the financial and statistical reporting for the Payments function, ensuring that KPIs are accurately measured and reported against and that team productivity is monitored.

The job holder will ensure that we have the data and reporting available to reach and exceed the set KPIs and SLAs. The role will need to identify where there are issues or where improvements can be made in order to increase the deposit success rates and withdrawal processes.

This role is also responsible for the daily Card and E-wallet reconciliation and resolving any anomalies that are found.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effective use of data and reporting to identify and rectify any shortfall in the deposit success rates and / or batch processing results.
  • Provide daily, weekly and periodical payments statistic reports to the business.
  • Provide data and identify opportunities to reduce the overall cost of deposits and withdrawals for existing payment methods, without decreasing overall deposit values/volumes.
  • Report and improve on deposit success rates.
  • Recommend changes and improvements to systems and processes, ensuring they are compliant with the relevant regulations.
  • Continuously look to improve and exceed the set KPIs e.g. deposit success rates and batch processing rates, by reviewing payment processes and ensuring they are fit for purpose.
  • Manage bank accounts and invoice payments.
  • Ensure all payment methods reconcile to the banking figures and report daily.
  • Provide detail for team performance and error monitoring reports periodically, working with the Payments Manager.

    Candidate Requirements
    • Excellent knowledge and experience of payment processing practices.
    • Understanding of AML, PCI and ISO compliance regulations.
    • Must be detail orientated and analytical.
    • Production of metrics/reporting to support compliance and business objectives.
    • Ability to problem solve under pressure.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Advanced in MS Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
