About The Role

As the Senior Product Manager you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Product Innovation in identifying and prioritising new digital sportsbook features, primarily for Coral and Ladbrokes.

You will take a data-led approach, working with the Product analysts to conceptualise, design and deliver innovative products, ultimately driving retention through improved service and customer engagement.

With a talent for multitasking, you will be taking new ideas and working up minimum viable products, putting them in front of customers and ultimately managing products through the development cycle, collaborating with both our in-house multi-variant testing platform developers and our off-shore developers.

Enthusiasm for sport or sports betting would be a considerable advantage, with a good level of industry knowledge from both a customer and business stakeholder perspective vital to the role.

The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering the best possible product to our customers, will understand business processes, have an eye for detail and a flair for communicating ideas and potential solutions.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Research, define, recommend and implement digital-specific innovation across the Sportsbook customer experience
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business drivers, help develop product strategy and contribute to the production of an overall product delivery roadmap that aims to deliver on the key business strategy and goals.
  • Seek input from external and internal stakeholders and keeping abreast of industry and sector best practice.
  • Develop business cases to demonstrate the benefits of the pipeline and roadmap items, then utilise the Product Data Analysts to measure subsequent performance through predetermined KPIs.
  • Proactively engage with Content, CRM, Marketing, Insights, Trading and Trading Development on a regular basis.

Ideally, you will have the following:

  • Strong analytical and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Good communicator with an organised mind, an eye for detail and strong relationship building capabilities.
  • An understanding of SAFe methodology and the ability to confidently manage an off-shore development team and plan sprints, having translated business needs into high-level user stories/requirements for new-to-market features.
  • Must possess an understanding of sports betting customers, and their needs, wants and expectations. Previous industry experience advantageous but not essential.
