About The Role
Role Purpose    

The Marketing Executive is responsible for executing the promotional and CRM plans to incentivise, entice, develop and increase the loyalty of gaming players across the sportsbook brands as well as encouraging cross sell from other products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Ladbrokes Gaming Marketing Manager to produce the monthly promotional plan for both brands
  • Responsible for updating the marketing calendar and its execution day to day
  • Day to day content management of the Ladbrokes gaming brand to ensure that the correct and most timely messages are always briefed in to ensure site is up to date and market competitive
  • Regular reporting of promotional performance, costs and ROIs
  • Delivery of competitive benchmarking of promotions and ensuring that the marketing plan is adapted to respond to competitor activity
  • Delivery of the monthly promotions schedule and setting up campaigns. This includes creative concepts, mechanics, and pay out structures as well as briefing CRM, Creative, CS, Operations, Content and any other relevant party
  • Creation and sign-off of creative briefs for promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Working closely with the CRM team to ensure smooth delivery of all promotional communications to our customers
  • Working closely with the content team to ensure games are promoted to the correct customers on site, including game positioning and promotion inclusion
  • Collaborating with Digital Marketing and TV Campaign manager on promotional offers that are attractive and relevant across all digital channels
  • Interaction with other business areas to provide information, support and assistance as required
  • Assisting with operational tasks for other sportsbook brands
  • Assisting with the training and development of new team members
  •  Supporting the Operations Executives to achieve expectation and operational efficiencies 
Specialist Skills and Experience Required
  • Previous experience working within the gaming sector
  • Promotions/Marketing experience strongly preferred
  •  Exemplary written and spoken English
  • Detail focused but able to see the “big picture” and maintain progress, as well as multitasking capabilities
  • Knowledge of Playtech systems including IMS preferred
  • Experience using Jira and/or confluence beneficial
  • Knowledge of customer servicing and retention strategies
  • Ability to work effectively as part of both small teams and larger formal groups
  • Good IT skills including strong experience of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, time management and organization skills.
  • Ability to come up with ideas/concepts and suggestions/improvements and follow these through to implementation
