About The Role

The Senior Social & Programmatic Exec is responsible for the Social Media and Programmatic Team in researching, analysing, promoting and optimizing campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, other social networks channels. They are responsible for launching, executing, managing and optimizing programmatic media campaigns.

This person will be responsible for the teams’ campaign strategy, planning, budget and optimization processes in order to expand the team’s current social media capabilities, through testing, upsells, partnerships, etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the delivery of various social campaigns on Facebook, Twitter and other social media networks, including preparing and signing off budgets and campaign targets to senior management
  • Accountable for the day to day lead of the team: oversees the teams’ highest performance, provides training if needed, and be the person to go to when team members are seeking for help on professional issues
  • Responsible for all social network and programmatic campaigns delivery and for reaching the teams’ monthly targets; oversees creative and offer/promotion strategy (in conjunction with brand promotional teams) and ensures constant performance optimization
  • Responsible for building and managing an in-house team to deliver the social media strategy, including bidding and cost management, forecasting and planning, creative execution and placement; overall team is expected to be 2 people
  • Track Fraud and Non-Compliance, and execute correction plans
  • Works closely with the all Digital Teams (PPC, SEO etc) to complete fact-based assessment on future models; management of the payment process for all social media publishers; management of the activity of all publishers to ensure compliance with regulations and policy.
  • Responsible for being updated with Facebook advertising platform developments and ensuring that all promotional materials are compliant, appropriate and competitive at all times

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

  • No specific requirements but successful candidate likely to have university level education and/or equivalent vocational training

Specialist Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience as a team leader role
  • Previous experience in social media and programmatic buying for a performance based company
  • Significant hands-on and strategic online sports/gaming experience
  • Can identify tracking issues
  • Results orientated individual focused on delivery, agility and control
  • Proven analytical capability and deep understanding of BI/data analytics
  • Understanding of digital advertising legislation and codes of practice
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem solving and project management skills
  • Proven track record of optimising 3rd party relationships with high profile, international suppliers (e.g. Facebook, Google)
  • Genuine ability to cope with ambiguity and drive a business experiencing considerable change
