About The Role
Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities:

To provide a professional service to all customers, either by telephone, email, in person or social media;

Key Responsibilities:

  • To answer all calls and greet customers in a friendly and accommodating manner, making a great first impression;
  • To effectively transfer calls and take messages;
  • To build and maintain relationships with customers and visitors to the track;
  • To ensure information in the public domain is current, accurate and up to date;
  • To complete administrative tasks, e.g. filing, delivering and accepting mail;
  • To exchange information with other teams where necessary, e.g. restaurant bookings;
  • To keep office supplies stocked and accessible;
  • To keep the reception area tidy and presentable with all necessary stationary and material accessible, e.g. pens and brochures;
  • To ensure that customer details and databases are maintained in line with GDPR legislation;
  • To set up function rooms for planned events, organising refreshments and being the main point of contact;
  • To carry out any other reasonable requests made by the Commercial Manager.
Health & Safety and Compliance Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Stadium security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk, e.g. visitor badges;
  • Ensure that all facilities in the Reception area are working safely and is compliant with manufacturer’s guidelines for operation, reporting any concerns to the Commercial Manager.
Additional Information
Accountabilities 
  • You are required to follow the Managers Briefs (MB), Work Instruction Notices (WIN), or Stadia Operating Procedures (SOP) that are relevant to your role. These can be found on the company Intranet. 
  • The company may also communicate ad hoc notifications through line managers and notice boards - these will also form a part of your health and safety responsibilities.
Specialist Skills, Experience and Educational Requirements 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft programmes and packages including Excel and Word
  • Experience in a similar environment is preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of the betting industry
